Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in London Zoo

Time

It must of been about midday

Lighting

It was a nice bright day

Equipment

For this I used my old Nikon D50 and Tamron 70-300 zoom

Inspiration

A day trip to the zoo with my grand daughter

Editing

Yes unfortuantly because this was taken in a zoo the background was very messy and full of people so i had to remove the background completly and give it a very dark background to create the mood all processing was done using paint shop pro

In my camera bag

Now I carry my Nikon D7100 with the Nikkor 18-140 zoom and the sigma 10-20 wide angle for most occassions

Feedback

Try and think about what you want to achieve for shots like this a good telephoto is useful and be prepared to some pp to remove unwanted objects from the background
