This picture was taken at my favourite beach while walking my dog. She loves trying to catch the waves that break, but on this particular day, she was tired and preferred walking in front of me without bothering the waves.

I took this image at my favourite beach where I find peace and comfort after difficult days. My dog and I love our sunset walks and our bonding time.Time
At about 15h30 after a tough day, my dog and I went for a walk at our favourite place. I saw her paw prints and thought it would make a great memory, so out went the camera and thought the sun provided the perfect golden light needed. I will forever remember this moment with my dog feeling at peace.Lighting
This image was taken at the spur of the moment and loved the golden light the sun cast on the sea sand and just decided to go with the moment of it. No added lighting required.Equipment
This was shot on a 1000D with a basic kit lens. It was a privilege to have been at the right place at the right time. No thought went into the image. It just presented itself.Inspiration
Bonding time with my dog at the beach, our favourite place to be. I thought it would make a great memory of her paw prints in the sand. I'll treasure this image for many years, as she is no longer with me.Editing
Nope.In my camera bag
My partner is the photographer, so I normally take the leftover kit... when I'm on my own I tend to use an old 100D with a 85mm sigma macrolens. I love taking macroshots, as it is my 'thing'.Feedback
Just go with the flow, be patient and if you see something that you can envision as a memory, take that shot. You won't be disappointed.
