Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at Lake Plastiras, near the city of Karditsa in Greece. It was a misty day and i try to shoot this place. I am an amatauer photographer, so i try to shoot in different weather situations to learn from this shoots.

Time

This is one of my favorite images. I remember walking near the lake, around 11 AM in the morning and i found this boat in the lake. I have no tripod with me, so i try to make a good shoot without tripod. The result it is worth it, i believe!!

Lighting

The misty lake look mysterious and i decided to make this shoot to introduce the viewer into this place and how different is one place with no view because of the fog.

Equipment

This was shoot on a Nikon D7100 with a 18-140mm f3.5 lens. No other equipment was involved.

Inspiration

I was looking a place to shoot the fog. So when ia find it i took some photos of this place.

Editing

Landscape photography requires a lot of processing. I make some correction in photoshop and i boost the colors and light in lightroom.

In my camera bag

The first thing i always pack, is my first camera Nikon D60!! with a 35mm f1.8 lens. I shoot many years with this camera and always have it with me. Also i have my Nikon D7100 aith a 18-140mm prime lens. Some filters, polarised and neutral are always a part of my equipment.

Feedback

Shoot in a fog it is always a challenge. If you found a place with fog just shoot and the result will always be interesting!
