Took this picture over the course of two hours and started to get a little bit drunk from mulled wine on the Bulgarian slopes. The dogs wouldn't stop moving as people constantly tried to get their attention and pet them. The payoff was worth the frustration(and the headache that ensued later!)

I have over 6-7 shots of this... Animals are difficult to shoot... especially when there are more than one. 6 dogs moving around and kids and parents interacting with them made it difficult.

Location
I took this picture in the mountains of Smoylan, Bulgaria at a ski resort. This dogsled team was part of a rapid response rescue unit for Skiers that may have injured their selves or dropped precious articles from the lifts.Time
around 2pm in the afternoon, after a bunch of mulled wine.Lighting
It was early afternoon, and this picture took me almost 1.5 hours to get as the dogs woud not stop moving around and the patrons (kids and adults alike, lol), could not help themselves to petting and giving the puppies snuggles. It was annoying but forgive-able as those dogs rocked! It was a tough gig, but I managed to get this shot eventually.Equipment
Canon T2i, with the kit lens, or the 40mm pancake lens.. hard to remember now as it was a few years ago and I had a lot of mulled wine on the ski slopes! ;)Inspiration
The winter wonderland in Smolyan was chock full of amazing opportunities to take decent shots and this one I am especially proud of.Editing
Yes. I converted it to black and white because of the snow blowing out the exposure, and the dogs were already black and white, and the snow was white, so I reckoned why not a black and white shot??? What would you do?In my camera bag
Usually I carry more than I can carry.. I'm working on that.. but always my Canon T2i when I travel, but I always take something that can shoot a picture.Feedback
Don't give up.. Sometimes that hard shot seems impossible but if you give it (the subject) a moment to reveal itself... You'll get the shot. Trust me, you'll know it when it happens. Robert J. Morris
