Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was such a great culmination to an amazing day on the Masai Mara in Kenya. We had a wonderful end of the day game drive, watching a pride of lionesses attempt to take a wart hog (which they missed)! Then they all gathered on the edge of the savannah and from a line of trees emerges 2 lionesses and an assortment of cubs of all ages...it was the end of the day reunion! They loped to their mamas and head butted and groomed each other in sweet bliss... it was an awesome scene and one I will never forget.Time

Yes, some increasing contrast, a bit of increase in clarity but the light was lovely, so not a lot needed to be done.In my camera bag
Currently a canon 7D mark 2, Canon 5D mark lll, 300 mm 2.8 lens, 1.4x and 2x extenders, 24-70mm 2.8 lens, 70-200 2.8 lens... a great combination of possibilities!!Feedback
Going on a trip with other photographers and guides that know when and where to go and look and capture the unique scenes...I think that is key to getting the shots... awareness, access and patience!
