Location
I took this photograph at the venue for my stepsons wedding. The reception room is at a renovated factory located in Chicago, IL. The building houses a neighborhood art school. We arrived early and I took a few shots while we waited for guests to arrive.Time
The wedding took place at 3:00pm in the afternoon.Lighting
I actually took this shot on auto. No flash. Nothing special. It was a "lets see what happens" moment.Equipment
Canon D5100Inspiration
I really liked the look of this shot before I took it. The room was empty but I knew in a little while the chairs would be filled with family and friends of the happy couple.Editing
I used Corel high definition to bring out the contrast. I think it made the color against the windows glow. Without it it looked a little flat.In my camera bag
I keep it simple. Just the esstentials. Camera, flash, extra charged battery, etc.Feedback
I like to keep things simple and clean. I know many people don't like to edit their photos but I love to take a photo like the one above and play with it. Sometimes it turns a good photo into a great one.
