Location
This photo was taken in the Marrakech Medina in one of the many alleyways. I was with a group of seven photographers attending a photoworkshop by Photo Workshop Adventures.Time
I came across this gentleman selling eggs at around 9:00 am April 30th 2015Lighting
Lighting was somewhat difused and filtered as the alleyway was narrow and the buildings high, so the sun was not shining into this area.Equipment
The photo was shot with a Canon 6D camera, EF 24-70mm f/4L IS lens at 70mm, 1/160sec @ f/8 ISO 200Inspiration
I was drawn to the character of the scene, the man resting and contemplating from what looked like a very busy day so far judging by the number of empty egg flats.Editing
Used Photoshop and Lightroom to process the photo. Minor cleanup of distracting elements and adjustments to colour and clarity. At this time I was starting to learn about making adjustments using these two programmes. In my camera bag
At the time of this photo I had a 50mm & 85mm prime lenses and a 100-400mm Zoom lens, in addition to my 24-70mm zoomFeedback
When out and about always have your camera with you as you may encounter something special. This is one of my favourite photos from my Morocco Photo Workshop.
