Congratz. Super shot. When I see an old building I always want the story. If they could just talk.

This house was constructed using the old lath Stucco and plaster method. It had to be constructed over 100 years ago. The roof has held up better than the siding. Thanks for ssharing.

Location
I took this photo of old (100+ years) powder house in Slavonski Brod / Croatia.Time
It was cloudy morning, with no wind - perfect for hdr shot.Lighting
It's tricky to capture perfect exposure, especially in shades, or in the bright sky. Therefore I decided to use high dynamic range shots so I could pull out all the details.Equipment
I used my Canon 1Dx combined with EF 16-35L II f2.8 IS USM with B+W polarize filter, on my carbon Gitzo tripod.Inspiration
Old crannied, powder house lured me to capture it. I have not resisted much...Editing
Every picture needs a little polishing to make it look more appealing for a viewer. For this picture I took multiple shoots (HDR) with different exposures, combined them in one shot, enhance lightning and saturation. And voila...In my camera bag
I carry my Canon 1Dx, EF 16-35L II f2.8 IS USM for wide angle shots, EF 70-200L f2.8 II IS USM in combo with Canon EF 2x III extender for some zoom shots, Canon flash 600EX RT. I bring extra battery for 1Dx, and some batteries for 600 EX-RT, B+W circular polarizing and ND filters, flash light, Gitzo carbon tripod... That's pretty much it.Feedback
Pay close attention to several things when you want to use HDR technique. Find interesting subject, choose good composition, and perspective. Watch out for light, shades, and wind. After taking a shot, "play" a little in Lightroom, Photoshop, or any other software you are using for picture corrections. Don't forget... your imagination is your biggest weapon, and only sky is the limit.
