Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at the summit of Mount Picco de Loro in Nasugbu, Batangas, Philippines.

Time

It was taken during the afternoon when we were able to reach the summit during our trek.

Lighting

It was already late in the afternoon where in the sun is already setting at the right side of the monolith.

Equipment

I used my fujifilm X20 in this shot since we need to go light in our trek.

Inspiration

It took us 5 hours in able to reach the summit of the mountain. The trek was pretty tough but after reaching the top, it was all worthy. The beautiful scenery was really relaxing calming. But the challenge of the mountain is not climbing the summit, it was climbing the monolith which is called the Parrot's Beak.

Editing

I made some sharpening, exposure, color and curve adjustments in photoshop.

In my camera bag

Canon 5D mk 2 and a 17-40mm lens.
