Location
This photo was taken on an autumn morning walk within walking distance from my home. I don't even have a driving licence so it's either on foot or on bike I go. Dordrecht, where I live, is an island recovered from the St. Elisabeth's Flood of 1492 near Rotterdam in the Netherlands. In the distance of the image the mist over the land and behind the tall trees adjacent to one of the dikes, to keep the land safe and protected from the sea.Time
Mist only covers the lands and plants in the early hours of the mornings. Once the sun gets higher the damp evaporates.Lighting
Any image with natural elements like plants and bushes covered in mist best be shot in natural back-lit conditions.Equipment
I used a Nikon D7000 with a moderat zoom-lens at 50 mm. Handheld 1/250 at f 5.0Inspiration
The specific conditions in the morning hours in autumn with mist on the land and beautiful light.Editing
Basic processing in ACR only. No layers, no Photoshop. In my camera bag
At the time Nikon was used. Now FujiFilm-X T20 and in the near future FujiFilm-X T4 with fast primes and different zoom lenses ranging from 10-20 to 55-200.Feedback
