This photo was taken while on a urban photo safari with a Meet-Up group, Here is a different point of view of the GM world headquarters formally the Detroit Renaissance Center in Detroit Michigan.Time
As the pic's is bathed in a red hue, It was shot during sunset.Lighting
I love to shoot during sunrise and sunset.Equipment
It was shot hand held with my Nikon DSLR D800 with my go-to lens Nikon 28-70mm f/2.8Inspiration
This is a very iconic Detroit 1970's architecture. It has been photographed from all sides, day and night. But I have never seen it shot from this angle.Editing
I have as much fun in post processing as shooting. I enjoy using Adobe LightroomIn my camera bag
First off I have my LiL 50mm f/1.4 (nifty fifty) A Nikon SB-910 AF Speedlight flash that I can use on or off camera. My bad ass Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II Lens. Extra batteries for flash and camera. And lots of extra memoryFeedback
Don't just stand up straight and shoot, look up, down, right and left. Keep your eyes moving. Look for different points of view. Look for colors and textures. Look for contrasting objects. Remember when you shoot a subject there is a foreground and a background that you can control with aperture size.
