Beautiful. I too enjoy capturing flowers. I like your perspective.

Location
I took this picture on the front steps of my home.Time
It was in the early evening of the day.Lighting
It is all natural lighting.Equipment
I used my Canon Rebel 2Ti to take the picture, with my standard 18-55mm lens.Inspiration
When I was looking at my daisies, I noticed the contrast of the bold colors of the petals with the soft textures of the stem. I wanted to capture the beauty of that contrast. Even the contrast of the sharp colors of the petals and the soft colors of the stem were intriguing.Editing
I did a little cropping to get the main focus of the picture centered. In my camera bag
I usually carry my Canon Rebel with the 18-55mm lens. I also keep my 75-300mm lens handy. I am still very much a novice photographer, and I have just started to experiment with new lenses.Feedback
When taking a picture of anything, find what interests you about the topic. Think about what drew you to take the photograph. Focus on the beauty that YOU see in the object or person and make it apparent to others. Most people don't think to take a picture of the stem and the underside of a bloom. Find the hidden beauty of something and show it to the world.
