Love this pose. Makes me think of a little brother caught harassing his big bro; or, 2 wrestlers setting up for a restart on the mat. Sharp focus and great depth of field.

Location
This photo was taken at the OLARI MOTOROGI Conservancy in Kenya, Africa.(Aug 2014).Our safari vehicle came upon this large pride with a dozen or so young cubs playing.Even at this young age they were practicing taking down prey on their brothers and sisters.Time
Our safari drives consisted of going out at 5am and return for lunch at 12pm and then going out again at 2pm until 8pm.This photo was taken in our afternoon/evening drive.Lighting
This particular day was late evening with clouds so it was getting quite dark.Equipment
For this shot (and 95% of my shots), I had brought along my Nikon D3s with the 80-400mm kens.Inspiration
I had taken a bunch of photos of these cubs at play but loved this one.One cub on top of the other frozen in action looking at something.Editing
Processed in Photoshop CS6 with a touch of Topaz Adjust plug-in.I did bring out the eyes a bit due to the shadows. In my camera bag
I now have the new Nikon D750 and still use the Nikon D3s.Lens wise I have the Tokina 16-28 F2.8, Sigma 50mm F1.4, Nikon 24-70 F2.8, Nikon 18-35 F3-5-4-5 and 24-120mm.Feedback
I found that it was best to get a descent zoom that is somewhat compact.I was quite lucky in that there wasn't a lot of people in our vehicle and hence had room to maneuver a Nikon D3s w/ 80-400mm lens.I could rest the camera/lens set up on the edge and roof of the vehicle (the roof was cut out for better vantage points).I was glad that I didn't bring along a huge, heavy lens because I wasn't shooting for National Geographic (for example) as I had witnessed with other amateur photogs lugging their heavy equipment in full vehicles.Besides most of the time we would pull up to lions resting/eating at around 20-30 foot distances so a descent zoom was all that was needed.
