Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in an old Southern home Heritage site in Atlanta Florida.

Time

I remember visiting this Heritage centre on a fine day ,we took my Grandson who lives in Atlanta,he is the one in the picture,it was mid afternoon.

Lighting

I just thought the natural light was perfect as he was climbing the stairs, so quickly took the shot.

Equipment

Shot using my camera at the time a Canon 40d,hand held.

Inspiration

I was inspired by the staircase initially,but as my Grandson reached the top i thought that he added something to it.

Editing

only post processing was black and white conversion.

In my camera bag

I normally carry my camera of course ,which is now Canon 6d,Canon 50mm prime lens,105mm sigma macro lens,Canon 17-40 Lens and Canon 75-300 Lens,and my Tripod.

Feedback

My advice would be always have your camera ready for that moment that happens,usually in the blink of an eye,a few seconds later he had reached the top of the stairs and was out of view,so always be prepared.
