Location
This photo was taken on Sheerness Beach Kent UKTime
This shot was taken late morning about 10.30 amLighting
The day was hazy and overcast and I managed to capture this photo during a moment when the sun was poking through the clouds.Equipment
I actually don't remember which equipment I used except the fact it was a Canon Camera, lens and a medium gradient grey filter.Inspiration
Inspiration, actually Came from a book I was reading at the time which had several pictures of brakewaters and old wooden jetty's.Editing
It was one of my first using Luminar Neo. living this Software I was able to highlight the brakewater improve the sea and lighting the sky without ruining the clouds. And of course softening the whole picture. In my camera bag
I usually have two cameras a canon 5D and Canon 4000D. I usally carry a 75-300mm, 50mm, 35mm and 80mm Ienses as well as a set of ND filters both dark and gradient.Feedback
Take several shots using different settings, filers and lenses and always remember a lot can be done In post-processing. I find that it seems to be pictures that I'm not happy with that turn out to be my most popular pictures. In post-processing I just love to play around with every tool available to see what I get even if it means doing the whole thing over again and sometimes I just end up scrapping the whole thing. Sometimes I take several hundred pictures in a day depending on what I'm doing and from that I may only end up with three or four in total but also depends on whether I use hdr or not.
