Abstract Seascape Photography at Sunset. taken as part of an ongoing project called , " The Ripple Effect " , which features images that symbolize cause and effect and the smallest action of the individual can effect the enviroment , society and community for both Humanity and Nature. using local knowledge this was taken on the turning tide at sunset on one of my local beaches using a ground level pov , shallow depth and macro techniques to capture the diversity of ripples and wave patterns even in a calm sea caused by the perfectly still tidal wall as it reaches for the shore. The abstract I wanted to create was one that gave the viewer the same polarising feelings as the water , that of total mental stillness and peace despite being surrounded by motion and submerged in an image that symbolizes the constant activity that surrounds us .The view is across a bay towards Holyhead Marina on the Isle of Anglesey , off the North wales mainland in the UK.
