Action landscape Photography. A unique storytelling perspective of an iconic lighthouse at Penmon Point on the Isle of Anglesey, off the North Wales Mainland in the UK. Taken from a low POV , at below ground level , a view only possible at low tide when the rock pools are shallow and the way to the lighthouse is exposed. I took a number of shots of the lighthouse at this angle in the mid afternoon summer light which created a more 3D quality to the structure but this composition caught my eye as I saw a group of youngsters and their dog approaching . I hoped I could get a shot of them walking in a line towards the steps, and was luckily that it occurred, as they had suddenly reminded me of the childrens book by Enid Blyton about the Famous Five and their adventures. This is an unedited version of the image which I preferred because the light had created that element of shadow which is natural to a seashore landscape . Coastal nature and Architecture Composition
