Behind The Lens

Location

Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa in Gold Coast, Australia.

Time

It was mid afternoon using the natural afternoon sun and the shades of the palm trees.

Lighting

I did natural light photography here, using the edge of the shadows under the canopy and positioning model in this pose.

Equipment

Nikon D810 and Tamron 70-200 G2

Inspiration

Just wanted to have the beauty shot mixed with swimwear photography and different point of view that you don't see every day.

Editing

Lightroom, photoshop, used various tools and colour correction techniques.

In my camera bag

Nikon Camera with two lenses, wide and telephoto, tripod and shutter release cable.

Feedback

When you pose the model, try to walk around and take various shots with different angles and point of view. Zoom in the photos to see the details during selection. And practice post-processing.
