Oculus is an ultra-modern train station at the Westfield World Trade Center Mall in New York City. It replaced the PATH station that was destroyed during 9-11 in 2001. The designer of Oculus was the Spaniard Santiago Calatrava. He wanted to have the roof retractable so it looked like a bird wing. However, the project had to be stopped at $4 billion. BILLION!!
The new One World Trade Center is across the outside part of the mall (out of the picture).
