When cold clear skies are forecast overnight there is always a chance of some morning mist. This doesn't always work out but last night all the signs were there, so I set my alarm for 4am ready for an early morning adventure.
I decided to go to Llyn Nantle, (somewhere new for me) and boy it didn't disappoint. Watching the fog bounce back and forth across the lake was well worth the early rise.

I have wanted to visit this place on a misty morning for a long time now. I studied into what makes misty mornings and on the evening before taking this, the forecast looked good. When I arrived there was lots of mist and the scene was ready.Editing

Dress up warm. Be patient, All morning was pretty dull until the clouds rolled in. Take a flask of tea. Concentrate on finding a good composition. Use a relatively quick shutter speed to keep the structure of the mist
