We have a house in Clearwater FL and decided to make a butterfly garden around our pool.Time
It was around mid afternoon and I usually kept the camera nearby when I was in the pool. It must have been late in the season because the poor thing's wings were battered looking. But she was hungry and probably looking for a place to lay her eggs.Lighting

Butterflies, due to their habit of lighting and moving on very quickly, are hard to photograph. I wanted to capture her in her natural environment. I just kept following her around our garden snapping what I could. I finally got what I wanted and she flew off.Editing
