Location
Gumbalimba Park in Roatan. It was sitting off in some brush just enjoying the shade on a very hot day. I tried creeping up on it a little bit at a time and when I was close enough I snapped the photo and he ran off.Time
This is one of my favorite Iguana photos. We were on a cruise and took a tour to Gumbalimba Park getting there about 11AM. After walking for maybe 1/2 hour or more I spied him.Lighting
The dappled sunlight through the shade of the trees was just what i wanted to highlight the rings of color and soften the whole photo.Equipment
Just my trusty point-and-shoot. Sony RX-100Inspiration
I enjoy photographing wildlife so when I saw this guy sporting so many cool colors I had to take a photo of him.Editing
Usually tinker with the light a bit after using the automatic setting on post.In my camera bag
Only a spare battery and chip.Feedback
Keep your eyes open and your camera ready. Some of the best shots are impromptu.
