Location
This photo was taken at my in home studio. I have several rooms I use as a blank canvas. This one was in a bedroom.Time
I don't remember the time but it was evening. This was a private boudoir session.Lighting
The bedroom lights are horrible so I needed my stand light. I used one behind me and one off to the left side. I also used diffusers to soften the lights.Equipment
I used my Sony cameraalong with my stand lights. I'm not a big fan of tripod, I like to get close and personal with my clients so I was free hands with my Sony.Inspiration
Boudoir session, and I want to keep my clients secret when promoting work. My client also had a very fun outfit and I wanted to show off the sexy look. It's one of my favorite shots, and my client loved the mystery of it too.Editing
Yes, I did some post edits. I did skin touch ups and some white balancing but that's all.In my camera bag
My trusty Sony and a few 30 and 50 prime lens. And finding a good light source where ever I am.Feedback
Read your client. If they are shy or uncomfortable, do some experiential works with them not looking at you or away. You'd be surprised at how your photos will become more dramatic vs the forward facing poses.
