Location
I made this photo in a place called Pier Mauá, in the city of Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. Shortly before the start of the Rio Olympics, several places in the city received new monuments, arts and places for fraternities among tourists. This panel is called "We Are All One" by the artist Eduardo Kobra.Time
While I was photographing the movement of the tourists on the new Pier Mauá, I noticed everyone's curiosity about the large graphite mural. A little before 11 in the morning, I stopped in a shade and stayed there, waiting for the exact moment where an "exchange" of glances between the two personages takes place.Lighting
I worked exclusively with natural light, I worked exclusively with natural light, my only concern was not to let the shadows of the place get in the way.Equipment
This photo was made with a Canon 5D MK III + Canon 70-200mm f / 2.8 USMII Lens.Inspiration
I am a big fan of street photographs, people, shadows and textures always give a fantastic result .. When combined with a "common" worker, the social result strengthens photography even more.Editing
Only a small increase in color saturation. In my camera bag
I already had and tested several different devices from different brands . Today , I carry with me in my backpack , a Canon 5D MK III with Canon lenses , 8-15mm f4 , f2.8 16-35mm , 24-70mm USM II 2.8 and a 70-200mm USM II 2.8. Depending on the place , ND filters , tripod and whatever it takes to placeFeedback
I imagine for these photos, the ideal is the patience. Trying to predict more or less what you want for the scene helps a lot too. And always, a little luck.
