Location
This photo was taken in Itamaraty Palace , located in Brasilia, capital of Brazil.Time
Brasilia is known as " the most beautiful sky in Brazil " , with fantastic sunset . This photo was taken just before sunset.Lighting
Make a photo of a monument involves familiarize yourself with the location. Known as the place behaves in various times of the day. Much depends on the result you want to achieve with photography . In this case, I wanted to show the water mirror, without the wind messed up . So , show all symmetrical architecture of the place.Equipment
In this case I just used a Canon 5D MK III , with lens Canon 24-70mm USM II F2.8.Inspiration
The unique architecture in a single city , is my greatest inspiration. Whenever I'm in Brasilia , I go out to capture the beauty of the beginning and end of the day . Always looking for new angles , new lights and colors of its monuments .Editing
Almost no treatment process. Only a small decrease in highlights, opening the shadows and some alterations in color saturation. In my camera bag
I already had and tested several different devices from different brands . Today , I carry with me in my backpack , a Canon 5D MK III with Canon lenses , 8-15mm f4 , f2.8 16-35mm , 24-70mm USM II 2.8 and a 70-200mm USM II 2.8. Depending on the place , ND filters , tripod and whatever it takes to place.Feedback
You have to know the place , know how light works at different times of day. Then have patience, count on luck , and hope that the weather get in the way as planned.
