Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken next to my home. As usual, I was looking for insects to take macro photos when I saw this spider on a leaf. It was very aggressive, ready to attack when it saw the lens was getting closer.Time
It was around noon. I remember it was a cloudy day and it was going to start raining.Lighting
It was a cloudy day, the light was very dim because of the clouds and the shade of the trees around. I used a flash to take the photo. The flash was off camera on a tripod.Equipment
Nikon D7000 hand held, Tokina 100mm f2.8 macro lens, flash and a tripod for the flash.Inspiration
I love little animals since I was a kid, I remember spending a lot of time looking at them.Editing
Minor color and tone adjustments of the RAW file in Lightroom. In my camera bag
Nikon D7000, Tokina 100mm f2.8 macro lens, Nikon18-55mm, Nikon 50mm f1.8, Flash.Feedback
You can find insects and critters almost everywhere, you just need to carefully look for them. You need a macro lens with 1:1 magnification for macro photography.
