Location
This photo was taken while I was on a hike on Little Talbet Island in North East Florida. Its a beautiful hike that shows much of the natural majesty the Florida has to offer.Time
It was around 10am when I took this shot. This is a great time to find birds hunting because its not to hot yet for them or the fish. When the hottest part of the day starts to hit the fish retreat to deeper water and the birds look for shad or mind their nests.Lighting
The direct sunlight in this photo is perfect. I wanted to show case every feather and facet of color he had to offer.Equipment
I use a Canon T3i, this was taken with a Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 Di LDInspiration
I love nothing more then to take photos of nature and animals. As a self taught photographer, every time I pick up my camera it's a new lesson. Being in nature has a grounding effect on me and through my photos I hope to transport people to a place they might not ever get to see.Editing
I prefer my photos to be raw and real. For me the best photo is a natural oneIn my camera bag
I pack light for my hikes. Just my Canon 3Ti, my 85mm lense , and my Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 Di LD Macro Zoom LenseFeedback
Patience is key when taking photos of animals. Enjoy the moment but always be ready and remember you can never take to many photos !
