One suggestion... take the date off. Best not to have dates on your photos, they ruin many great pictures. Just a suggestion.

You are right and have adjusted camera but often forgotten to remove from photos. Thank you really appreciate any advice.

Location
This photo was taken in one of my favourite places,Thames/Coromandel Coast, New Zealand. The coastline has numerous spectacular bays and the sunsets are pretty amazing.Time
During a late afternoon walk around the bay admiring the skyline as the sun began to set. Many others were doing the same or walking their dogs. The locals are always friendly and while talking, I almost missed the changes taking place across the sky. This particular evening was very windy and it was very quickly causing spectacular changes in the sunset.Lighting
As I started shooting again, I couldn't stop, as the sky was changing by the minute. The wind seemed to play a major role in the whole scene. When I uploaded this photo it was a difficult choice as I had taken so many similar but each slightly different.Equipment
My little Canon Powershot A4000 IS - no other equipment.Inspiration
I love taking photos of Seacapes, Landscapes, Sunsets and Sunrise, Oceans & Trees, it increases my awareness of Natures beauty and I love finding places that are breathtakingly beautiful. I have only recently had time to start doing this regularly and I am hoping to improve my skills to do justice to the scenes I photograph.Editing
Try not to as I am never confident about getting it right, so if absolutely necessary, I use the crop tool to eliminate unwanted area, and perhaps adjust the Light or Colour a little. I am always happier if I can take a shot that needs no adjustment. In my camera bag
Now I have a Canon EOS 1100 D and while I am using it, I really am still learning and mostly using the 18-55 mm Lens. It came with the 75-300 mm Lens but have not taken any shots with this as yet but am working up to it. This summer I am hoping to spend a great deal of time using my camera and finding out how to get the best results.Feedback
I am so delighted to have found ViewBug website. At first I was reluctant to join and upload my photos, but as I discovered how it worked and saw how encouraging members were to others and then discovered the inspiring photos uploaded by experienced photographers I was hooked. Not sure I can give advice to others at this stage but some of my better photos have happened just because I had my camera with me.
