Beautiful shot Hugo! Bringing back the past.I remember witnessing a formation of something like 100 - I think it was when they were decommissioned as the official SAAF trainer.

Location
I am a photographer living in South Africa and the photo was taken at the Sandstone Estates yearly Steam Heritage festival. A MUST see for any photographer..Time
The photo was taken during one of the fist runs early in the morning when all the old cars drive around to warm up for the days activities.Lighting
It was overcast where the clouds settled against the Drakensberg but were I was sitting everything was lid up with the golden rays of the morning sunEquipment
Camera: Canon EOS 7D Mark II Aperture: f/2.8 ISO: 64 Shutter Speed: 1/6400 Focal Length: 58/1582:Inspiration
All the photos of other photographers that i seen of Sandstone Estates inspired me to go one year and photograph all the golden olden days transportation from steam to petrol.Editing
I use Photoshop CC2017 to do all my post processing of all my photographs. In my camera bag
With my Canon EOS 7D Mark 2 - I shoot all my work and I use most of the time my Sigma 3.6: 18 - 200mm lens. At this location i used the Sigma 2.8: 17-70mm with no flash. I do not have that many expansive lenses so anything is possible.. No excuse from anyone!Feedback
Take every opportunity to take photos and if you can go away to Sandstone Estates in South Africa, do it coz you will enjoy it. the more photos you take the more you will learn and use the guides at Viewbug to learn more. Look and learn.. you can win!!
