Location
This photo was taken on Lake Baringo in Kenya. I was on a safari with Chris Bray Photography. It was the best two weeks with lots of great photographic opportunities.Time
It was taken just before the sun started to rise. We left in darkness on a small boat on Lake Baringo which hosts countless birdlife as well as crocodiles and hippos. We weaved our way around the lake avoiding trees and those hippos to get in the perfect spot with the Cormorants waking up on the tree branches.Lighting
They light was perfect to allow me to get this silhouette of the Cormorants.Equipment
Canon Mark ll. Lens 100 - 400mm @100. ISO 400. 1/8000sec @ f/8. Hand held.Inspiration
The sun was just about to rise, the Lake was shinning and the Cormorants were in perfect position.Editing
No post- processing just straight out of the camera. In my camera bag
Canon Mark ll. Lens 100- 400mm, 24 - 105mmFeedback
