I took this photo in Prague, Czech republic.Time
It was autumn time, early morning, the perfect time to go for shooting of the famous Prague bridge, Charles Bridge. I was expecting empty palce but there was already a group of young people waiting for sunrise. So we were waiting all together. In fact their presence added another dimension into the photo.Lighting
The sum was coming up just behind tower. On the way up it was creating magnificent sky bz various tones of sunrise colors. I cannot mention lamp light which were waiting to be switched off...so this is a moment of switching from artificial light to natural one.Equipment
Canon Mark III., Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USMInspiration
Every passionate person of photography wanted to have its own sunrise photo so did I. Charles Bridge is very famous place to go and there are thousand of photos from this place. But this one is my personal.Editing
Yes, Ii did as I take photos in Raw format. Therefore I used Nic Collection Color effect to enhance the colors, then I worked a bit on shades and contrast in Photoshop. For sure with Raw format I had to finish with sharpening. In my camera bag
Canon Mark III, lens for daily walk Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM, for street photography or low light Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Lens or Canon 50mm, polarization filters and monopod, if necessary then tripod, various memory card, extra battery and cleaning tissue are there always.Feedback
I would advice wild angle lens, good stable tripod, wireless shutter release, BE ON TIME at the place to capture different stages of sunrise,be patient.I like to come back to the same place because every time I find it different.
