Location
I took this in the Wicker park area in chicago! This is actualy located on one of the side streets and you would miss it if you wern't looking for it!Time
The is was shot in the mid afternoon probably around 3pm right before a rainstorm!Lighting
The lighting is all natural! all i did was try to make it look as if you were actually looking at the sculpture vs viewing it as a 2d picture.Equipment
i shoot with a sony a77ii and the lens used for this one is a sony Dt 2.8/16-50 ssm!Inspiration
I got on photo walks in the chicago area at least twice a week. As most photographers do i like to shoot things that capture your eye! This piece was hanging on the outside side of a building and wasn't really drawing attention to itself despite the fact the the size of the sculpture is roughly the size of a mini coup! so i felt like it deserved to be seen!Editing
I use photoshop and lightroom mainly and really all i did was try to bring out the dimensions to make it look alost 3DIn my camera bag
You name it I probably don't have it! i keep my bag light!Feedback
Keep your eyes open and explore the areas generally not explored by others!
