Love this. There are so many portraits done like this: tight, black and white, with a heavy emphasis on the eyes, but I love the uniqueness of this composition. Her hands, her expression, and the crop of this photo set it apart.

Makes me think of those 30's images of Okies. So much more effective than pretty pictures of women we see so often. Powerful, social comment. Very nice.
