7am 1st November 2015 was up for an early morning stroll looking for something inspiring to photographLighting
As I walking down a pathway at the side of a little stream I was on the look out for something inspiring and eye catching .... It was a new place to explore, there were many camping fields but I was looking for something to do with water and the mist and during my walk the sun was beaming through the trees at the side of the pathway and it definately was eye catching.Equipment
Nikon D5500 handheld shot Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 lens no flash no filtersInspiration
I was looking for a nice foggy mist image near the stream so I could work on my reflection work, but as I walked the pathway the sun rays creeping through the trees caught my eye and looked amazing and the Autumn colours were highlightedEditing
Yes I used Lightroom, I enhanced the hues Mae them stand out more to highlight the Autumn season, I played with highlights tab and a bit of shadow work, but the shot itself was already there just required some colour enhancementIn my camera bag
My bag probably carries more than it should, my camera body Nikon D5500, 50mm f1.8 prime lens, 24-70mm f2.8 Sigma lens, Nikon 18-105mm kit lens, 70-300mm f3.5/5.6 Tamron Macro Lens ... Grad filters ND filters shutter release cable, Nikon SB700 Speedlight and batteriesFeedback
Have an idea what you are wanting to capture, keep your eye out for light, shadows whilst baring in mind composition. Do not rush, make sure you plan enough time and get to your location with plenty of time to set up. Make sure you have the right equipment to capture what your intending.
