Location
This photo was taken in my home town of Brisbane (Australia). I took this photo in my neighbors front yard.Time
It was around 2pm and it was predicted to rain. I stick to using natural lighting, hence I quickly started taking nature shots whilst walking down the street.Lighting
I started by taking this photo from above and found there was not enough light and had to start thinking really quickly as to how I could get some more lighting into the photo (it was dark as it was about to rain). I then figured that I can go from beneath the palm and take the photo to get some extra exposure into the photo.Equipment
This photo was taken with my Sony M (C1904) phone camera. Nothing special :) no other equipment was used.Inspiration
I needed some shots of different plants in different views with varying details in each photo. I required an image that showed details on the leaf, but was still distinguishable from other plants and leaving structures.Editing
No! Especially with this photo. I love all things natural and kept this photo as is. I feel that everything is very realistic, yet in form with this photo. No edits done whatsoever! In my camera bag
I walk around with nothing than my phone. I am quite an amateur at photography and try to use simpler equipment to get my shots. Also, I feel as if that modern technology is so advanced that you really only need your smartphone for everyday use.Feedback
Each and everything as it own characteristics and elements that make it unique. You need to have the ability to look at different things from different perspectives and angles. Whilst taking a photo, you really need to get up and close to realize the true beauty in all things!
