This image keeps drawing me back and is so special not only because it is very cute but on so many more levels. It should be in a museum. The face on the little mountain goat show so much emotion :-) i too am surprised and happy about learning this species of high mountain goats do this with their young! Beautiful Thanks for sharing :-))))

What a spectacular and interesting capture! Who knew the young traveled like that? Hard enough to travel around those cliff edges with a baby on your back! Congratulations on all your wins.

This is so adorable. Wonderful capture--your patience was richly rewarded. Amazing animals, I can't imagine how they navigate their mountain world.

The photo was taken late afternoon in early June.Lighting

I was using a Canon 50D with Canon 100-400 lens, and Manfrotto monopod.Inspiration
I typically watch the new arrivals in early June, and was taken by the actions of this young kid, as it was constantly climbing upon it's mother's back as she was at rest. When she stood up, the youngster found itself in full piggyback mode.Editing

Exercise patience, and be at the ready. You won't have time to focus, compose, and snap the pic if you are not anticipating the shot.
