Behind The Lens

Location

It was taken in Ra?e ponds near Maribor Slovenia

Time

It was a terrific winter sunset

Lighting

Light was changing colours to classic orange sunset colors.

Equipment

Nikon D800, with nikon 24-85 vr

Inspiration

I was on a lookout for a nice winter sunset, when I spoted this line of unforzen pond water wich I used for a leading line into the photo.

Editing

I imported the photo into lightroom and did usual raw post procesing. Then I imported it into photoshop where I clean up the image of any unnecessary items, make final composition crop and sharpen the image before saving it on the hard drive.

In my camera bag

Nikon d810, nikkor 24-85, 18-35, lee graduated filters.

Feedback

For this kind of shot it is esential to take it in winter and you have to have some luck to find this kind of unfrozen parts of the lake or a pond as I did.
