A great image is composed by creativity, great skills and a touch of magic. Menchor Cuizon (menxcuizon) combines the right ingredients and the right amount of color and light to create a captivating image. Based in Northern California, USA, landscape photographer Cuizon sees photography as a way of traveling through time. Every single photograph he ever shot is a door into great memories filled with emotions which connect his present with the past.

I love photography because...  it gives me the opportunity to capture and share with others the world around us. Like music, photography has become a part of my life. I consider my photos as one of my most valuable possessions. They bring back beautiful memories, evoke emotions and rekindle experiences, and give me a sense of connection between my past and present - family, friends and places.

My camera lets me... capture the best times of my life and be able to tell and share stories that matter to me.

I find inspiration when... my work also inspire other people. It is priceless when you hear other people appreciate what you do and thank you for sharing your photos to them.

One of the photos I am most proud of... is Twilight because it was selected as a Grand Jury winner on one of Viewbug.com’s contest categories. It feels good to have accomplished something and get recognized and rewarded for your work.

My favorite place to shoot is... Yosemite National Park because it offers countless opportunities to capture different sights of natural lights and beautiful landscapes. Being there makes me feel connected with nature and what an amazing experience that is.

One of my favorite photos on ViewBug is "*** Stand Up N Get Counted ***" taken by shutterchemistry because it makes me feel like I am there too! This photo is stimulating my senses and imagination.

One of my favorite photographers on ViewBug is Ryan Buchanan because he captures amazing photos and I love his work.

These are 3 quick tips I’d like to share with fellow photographers:
-Be better today than yesterday - keep learning, there are new things to be found.
-Do what  you love, and love what you do.
-Be an inspiration to others.

One photo that was difficult to shoot... was the Antelope Canyon because of the very limited time I had, the people who would get in the  frame while trying to compose, and the constant dust all over the place.

The tips and secrets behind this photo:Preparation is the key. Complete focus - don’t allow yourself to get distracted by other photographers, as it will just slow you down.
