The dock enterance ramp was flooded and the reflection of the clouds on the water makes the dock look like its in the air.

Location

This photo was taken at the Coon rapids Minnesota dam.

Time

This was early morning around 6:30 am with a foggy sunrise in the park.

Lighting

As I was walking into the park, I thought the trees looked mysterious with the low hanging fog. In black and white I felt like the shadows of the trees drew me into the photo.

Equipment

I walk 5 miles each day so while walking my camara choice is something light weight, I use a Canon Power Shot G7 X Mark ll

Inspiration

Just its raw beauty. It's an example of the way an area you see every day can look so different just because of nature.

Editing

I changed the color photo to black and white and deepened the contrast for sharper shadows.

My point and shoot camara is always with me.
