Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the road to Teller Alaska from Nome Alaska.

Time

This part of the country has only 6 months of summer where road access to other neighboring towns have thawed from the 6 months ice cold winter. The picturesque mountains filled with wild flowers, salmon and blueberries can take one's breath away as it did mine. We enjoy the outdoors in summer time as winter season is just mostly spent indoors, the whole region is covered in 10- 15 ft of snow at any given time.

Lighting

There is just enough light in the sky to highlight the features of the view. No other special lighting apparatus were used.

Equipment

I used iPhone 13 Pro.

Inspiration

Ive always love taking nice views of landscapes, of every adventure trips that I take in my career as a scientist.

Editing

Just a little balance and highlighting in iPhone camera app.

In my camera bag

I have Canon 5D MII, normal wide angle lens and my iPhone 14 Pro.

Feedback

Just stop and look. Always be in awe! There are many sights that are so precious often it just takes that single second to capture it. Be ready always.
