This photo was taken during our trip to French Polynesia (December, 2021). I captured this image by the lagoon, as the sun was rising, on the western side of the island of Moorea. This young man was loading his boat with fishing equipment for an early morning fishing trip. The landscape was just breathtaking, with the clouds reflecting the warm light in the horizon and the hues of purple and blue. I particularly liked seeing the silhouette of the boat and the man on the water.
