We were fortunate to watch the beautiful display of 4th of July fireworks over the Hudson river, even though the views from our rooftop were partially obstructed by the waterfront buildings. It was my first time photographing fireworks using long exposure. I didn't have time to set the camera on a tripod; so I placed it on top of the HVAC unit and tried several shots. I truly enjoyed the long exposure images, which allowed for great flower-like patterns.
This photo was taken using ISO 125, f-10, 55mm with a 10 second exposure.
