An HII region emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia discovered by William Herschel in 1787.

Messier 52 - Cassiopeia Salt-and-Pepper Cluster
An open cluster of stars discovered by Charles Messier in 1774. It is bright enough to be viewed through binoculars.
Distance to Earth: 4,600 light years

Nova Cassiopeiae 2021
A nova formally named V1405 Cassiopeiae was discovered on March 18, 2021 by amateur astronomer Yuji Nakamura. It was brightest on May 9, 2021 at magnitude 5.5 and then dimmed down in June.
Distance to Earth: 5,500 light years
