Take away the feathers, and these things would be the size of your little finger. They're tiny, leaf-shaped, and scatter and hop about with extraordinary rapidity. They have black streaks and pinkish tinged feathers, and a red ring about the eye. And their chirruping is constant, and enthusiastic.
