I found this parakeet with a partner curled up and beaking its feathers in the darker recesses behind. Couldn't have asked for better light. The use of a monopod gave me enough stability to capture the eye clearly and bring out its colour. Canon 90D, Sigma 15-600mm, f-20, 1-250.
