I took this photo in the Savuti River area of Botswana. Dinner’s on the way. The wattled crane (Grus carunculata) is a large bird found in Africa. At a height of up to 5.74 ft, it is the largest crane in Africa and is the second tallest species of crane. The wingspan is 7.5 to 8.5 ft.
