I love this image Joann! You can feel the attachment between this fawn and mother. Kurt

Location
This was taken on the east side of the state park that is about 8 miles from our home. That area is very brushy and full of trees.Time
It was late afternoon (after 4pm) on a weekday, no very little traffic.Lighting
All natural lighting was used, no flash. There was sufficient light filtering through the trees.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D3300 camera with a Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 lens. No tripod, no flash.Inspiration
My favorite photos to take are of the area wildlife, especially the new babies. I watched these two playing and waited until they calmed down to get photos. This shot is but one of several of the two loving on one another.Editing
All I did was tighten the clarity of the photo. In my camera bag
My bag typically holds both my Nikon cameras - the D3300 and the D5600 and 2 smaller lenses. My Tamron has its own case.Feedback
Have an idea what you hoping to get photos of and make sure to have the right equipment with you. Because the fawns were in an area inaccessible to me the Tamron was a necessity. Don't rush the shot; be patient and get the shot you really want.
