Location

This photo was taken at the South Seattle CC arboretum in the conifer glen.

Time

I was trying to get my camera and I cool and walked into the conifer glen as I rounded the corner there it was. I grew up with trees like these but never have I seen this. Baby pinecone and I named him Jim, giggles!

Lighting

The lighting was the best because it had a direct focus on my pinecone, Jim

Equipment

Nothing fancy for me. Just my Canon Hot Shot SX 70HS and a steady hand.

Inspiration

I think just the surprise of seeing this pinecone was enough to inspire me!~

Editing

I am using light room for all my editing. I added a bit of vibrance for the color but that's about it.

In my camera bag

I have limitation so my camera around my neck and side bag on my huge power wheelchair with lens cloth, stronger ND filter if very bright. Extra batteries and my phone. I tend to forget to my phone, sometimes. That means I have to find someone with a phone to call my husband to pick me up in handicapped van. Phone is as important as batteries..

Feedback
