The mountains of the Northern Range in Trinidad are shrouded by mist after a rainstorm. in the middle distance is hidden Trinidad's tallest mountain, El Cerro de Aripo which is 940 metres (3,084 ft) tall. The second highest mountain is El Tucuche at 3,000 ft.
The Northern Range runs the entire width of north Trinidad starting in the west from the Chaguaramas Peninsula to the Toco Lighthouse point, Point Galera, in the east.
