Another of the impressive large birds that performed in the Bird Show at the World Bird Park in Walsrode, seen in previous images, this is one of the two Cape Griffon Vultures that performed together. Quite spectacular and only slightly overshadowed by the even larger Andean Condor. As a comparison, despite its size, the handler actually allowed the vulture to land sometimes on his gloved hand like the other birds, while the condor always had to land on the ground!

Most kind of you - many thanks. I think this is probably my favourite photo from my day at Walsrode World Bird Park, but I only took about 350 photos and so there are not too many to choose from!! 😂
